On behalf of the Waukegan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. I warmly welcome you to our official chapter website. Waukegan Alumnae better known as WAC was founded on November 3. 1979. We are delighted that you have taken the time to connect with us and learn more about who we are, what we do, and the impact we strive to make in our community.

 

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., founded on January 13, 1913, is a sisterhood committed to public service, social action, and scholarship. As members of the Waukegan Alumnae Chapter, we proudly carry forward this legacy by working diligently to uplift and empower the communities we serve. Guided by the Sorority’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust, our chapter actively engages in initiatives that focus on economic development, educational development, international awareness and involvement, physical and mental health, and political awareness and involvement.

 

As Chapter President for 2025-2027, my vision is to lead with love as the foundation of every action, guided by a commitment to excellence in all endeavors, and dedicated to service that uplifts, empowers, and leaves a lasting impact on the lives of others. Our goal is simple yet powerful: to make a lasting and positive impact in our community. Through collaborative partnerships, meaningful service projects, and programs that inspire and educate, we aim to strengthen families, support youth, and foster a spirit of unity and progress.
